What It Does
Drop a pin anywhere and Sundowner shows you the sun and the moon there.
- Sunrise and sunset, both on a flat horizon and over the real skyline around the pin
- Golden hour
- The sun's arc against the skyline
- The moon's phase, rise and set
- Favourites for the places you check often
- Home Screen widgets
- An Apple Watch app with complications
- Themes
Sundowner runs on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
How It Works
Sundowner calculates where the sun and moon are and builds the skyline from the land heights around your pin, so you see when the sun drops behind the hills as well as when it meets a flat horizon.
Sundowner works fully offline. All of its map, land height and place data ships inside the app.
Privacy
Sundowner has no account and collects no data. It makes no network connections. If you allow location access, your location is used on your device to centre the map and is never sent anywhere. Read the privacy policy.
Support

Adding a widget
Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and choose Sundowner.
Adding a complication
On your Apple Watch, touch and hold the watch face, tap Edit, swipe to the complications, tap a slot and choose Sundowner.
